  • Officer Grade ‘B’ (DR) General: You need to have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field with at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD).
  • Officer Grade ‘B’ (DR) DEPR: You should have a Master’s degree in Economics, Quantitative Economics, Econometrics, Mathematical Economics, Finance, or a related field. Alternatively, an MBA or Postgraduate Diploma in Finance with 55% marks is also acceptable.
  • Officer Grade ‘B’ (DR) DSIM: You need a Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematical Economics, Mathematical Statistics, Econometrics, Applied Statistics & Informatics, or Statistics & Informatics. Alternatively, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Analytics or a Master’s degree in Mathematics with a one-year Postgraduate Diploma in Statistics or similar subjects will also qualify.

  • For the general category, the age limit is 21 to 32 years. There are age relaxations: up to three years for OBC candidates and five years for SC/ST candidates. If you have an M.Phil, the upper age limit is 32 years, and if you have a Ph.D., it’s 34 years.
